Where is Junba Village?

Junba village is only fish village in Tibet Tibet tour. Influent on the Buddhism, most of Tibetan doesn’t eat fish although there are rich fish resources in the area. Living on the bank of Lhasa River, villagers in Junba village not only eat fish but also fishing for a living for generations.

Situated on the south bank of Lhasa River, Junba village is a small village nearly forty km from Lhasa Luxury China tour packages. There are limited filed to plough and people have to fishing for living. There are about 400 people in village and their daily work is fishing.

People fishing used kinds of unique model yak feather boat. Yak feather boat is one of the most ancient water craft in Tibetan areas. Because it's simple, convenient and practical that can be seen all over Tibet China travel service and has been used ever since.
